Manage tax compliance and tax advisory engagements in the NYC Commercial Real Estate Industry group.
Determine resource requirements and work with a team to ensure exceptional client service
Manage expectations with team members and monitor engagement progress
Lead the review of partnership heavy compliance (1065/K-1s) and related corporate filings, managing complexity across real estate structures and state filings
Research tax issues and filing requirements that affect tax compliance
Research complex tax issues using internal revenue code, treasury regulations and other relevant authorities/guidance
Draft tax technical memorandums and share knowledge to develop team members
Identify opportunities to expand the scope of current engagements through identification of current client needs and target client requirements
Actively participate in proposal development, at the direction of management, and take a lead role responding to requests for proposal
