OVERVIEW

The Tax Manager plays a central role within the tax division within a RIA, overseeing the preparation and review of a broad range of tax returns while delivering proactive tax planning, researching complex tax matters, and supervising a small team of accounting professionals. This role requires deep knowledge of tax issues affecting privately held and owner-managed businesses, as well as individuals with complex tax situations, including trusts and estates. The Tax Manager partners closely with financial advisors and the broader team to identify planning opportunities and deliver integrated advice across a client's full financial picture. The ideal candidate is technically rigorous and detail oriented, communicates complex tax concepts clearly to clients and colleagues, and thrives leading a team through a demanding compliance calendar.
