Senior Accountant

Detail-oriented and proactive Senior Accountant to manage core accounting functions and support financial operations. This role is responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, ensuring compliance with GAAP, and contributing to process improvements across the finance function.

Key Responsibilities:
Prepare, review, and post monthly journal entries.
Inventory and Cost of Goods Sold experience
Accounting process improvement / streamlining tasks
Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts, ensuring accuracy and consistency.
Manage fixed asset accounting and oversee accounts payable processes.
Prepare and analyze financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and capital expenditure reports.
Own and maintain assigned GL accounts with a strong understanding of underlying transactions.
Conduct financial analysis and support special projects as needed.
Identify and implement improvements to financial processes and reporting.
Assist with administrative tasks related to financial systems

Required:
Bachelors degree (Finance or Accounting)
CPA or parts passed
4+ years of experience, including 2+ out of public accounting
